August 2017

Dear Reader:

Summer is almost over and it flew by. The Presentation Summit is just over a month away. I hope to see many of you in Florida, Sept 24-27.

This month's Dishing on Presentations conversation is with neuroscientist, Dr. Carmen Simon, author of Impossible to Ignore: Creating Memorable Content to Influence Decisions. She will be the Monday morning keynote speaker at #PreSum17. She will be speaking on The Fiction of Storytelling: Being memorable is about more than just having a good story.

On September 19th, we will be kicking off a new webinar series, "Ask the Experts" with the Presentation Guild. Each webinar will feature presentation experts who have specialties such as programming and development, design and storytelling. Each webinar will feature different experts. Our first one features Ric Bretschneider as my co-moderator. The panelists include Stephy Lewis, Sandy Johnson, and Steve Rindsberg. Click here to register.

Bryan Jones, the founder of eLearningArt, a stock photo and template site designed for building presentations, eLearning, and more, is sharing his new eBook, PowerPoint Tips, Tricks, and Hacks from 29 Experts, with us.

Till next month,

Sharyn Fitzpatrick
